Directions:
Today, we are going to think about how poetry is affected by spacing and punctuation. Make sure to notice the following:
- Periods (.) and Dashes (--): These mean there should be a pause
- Commas (,): This means their should be a pause--but a shorter one than if there is a period or dash.
- No Punctuation: no pause--continue without pausing and read to the next line.

4. ONE of you will open up the Google Document of the poems.
5. You will work together to use the "comment" feature to post what you notice about the punctuation and spacing of the poems. Please try to comment 2-3 times on each poem.
